Stain vs. Etch

Dark Spot? It's a Stain (absorbed liquid). Dull/Rough Spot? It's Etching (surface damage).

The Poultice Method

For deep stains, mix Baking Soda + Hydrogen Peroxide into a thick paste like cake frosting.

The 24-Hour Wait

Apply the paste to the stain. Cover with plastic wrap. Tape the edges. Wait 24 hours. The paste pulls the stain out as it dries!

Fixing "Water Rings

If the spot is dull, use Marble Polishing Powder. Buff in circles to restore the mirror-like shine

ONE BIG NO-NO

NEVER use vinegar or lemon juice to clean marble. Acids destroy the stone!
